I, for the life of me, do not understand how anyone can take a human life in cold blood. It is just not within my psychie to contemplate this.

The subject just makes me shudder. It always has and always will.

Can we get back to foo fighters and bigfeetz please?

Better than an Ambien. It's BBC all night and those monotone British accents can knock me out in no time. I usually listen to that or an old Art Bell show. And yes, either of those shows can invade my dreams

Goodnight everyone. Have a nice day @Spookcat . Oh. Which reminds me. Wasn't yesterday the anniversary of Fukushima? Any interesting news on that front?

Fukushima itself? I haven't heard lately. As for the disaster:

 "11 March 2011.

Though eight years have passed, this day continues to hold a special meaning for us.

It is the memory of the Great East Japan Earthquake.

Do not let it just end with sorrow. You have to learn from the experience and change and prepare.

At that time, the tsunami in Ofunato City, Iwate Prefecture, was 16.7 metres in height.

If the tsunami came to Shibuya, it would’ve been exactly at this height [this section is written at the red level on the poster]

The Heisei era will end, but as we advance into the next era, don’t forget about that day.

This is the hope of Yahoo. "

I think it's safe to say John is having problems.

Time to talk about Nessie anyway.

When I was a kid, I always rooted for Nessie to never be found. I hope it remains a mystery until the end of time.

Nessie doesn’t believe in you. Proof that you don’t actually exist.

I believe in Nessie. Just don't want her to found. She can remain a mystery. It wont hurt anything if we never know for sure.

But don’t we have to kill it to understand it?

My m.u. used to have a business with an office/apartment in Tokyo. Many many friends in Japan. We happened to be up late that night and saw the tsunami live on CNN as it happened, horrified.

Phones to Japan didn't work... but texts did. Texts got through always, phones were overloaded, just like they were in NYC on 9-11, we couldn't make calls but could text.

Finally contacted friends and their families, all were fine, though some of them lost family members in the tsunami area. Plus some of my favorite sake breweries were damaged, ones that were hundreds of years old. Even if they are back in business now, I wouldn't drink any of their products made in that area, it's just not safe from radiation effects, though they're not talking about it much.

Sigh.

'Night all.

DO NOT KILL NESSIE! NESSIE IS MINDING HER OWN BUSINESS!

Rude...

But isn’t all that research Japan does by killing whales setting a precedent for how we should treat Nessie?
