..as he (the guest) tries setting up a false sense of rapport by calling him "Steve" from the git go! Over 25 times in the 90 mins. Weird, man.
If you're going to give me dirty looks from your vehicle or flip me off in traffic I will follow you. Once I have your plate number, I have your address. And then I have you;)

@albrecht  In the bateman link you provided scroll down to the HH Holmes show. There are odd quirky things about the guest who happens to Holmes's grandson..  You have to listen to the entire 91 minutes and then..... things go south, really south in the last seven or so minutes. Hilarious. The guy is odd and you'll know it within ten minutes

Oh yes, that interview was a classic indeed! We all had a good laugh and comments about it at the time @bateman  released it.  I think he later even threatened a lawsuit or something?

I miss Quick Karl. One of the warmest human beings you could ever run into on a message board.

I miss ol' 136 at LoserGab.  Dude tells us he's had mental issues and has been involuntarily institutionalized, then goes to the political threads to harass and attack anyone who disagrees with him on any issue.

A gift like that comes along rarely

I still suspect he was a Media Matters plant.

Anybody remember SR71? Always asking MV to cancel/wipe his account and posting how he was "Going back to facebook where people are cool" Coyle had his way with him a few times. The guy was just asking to be bullied. The one thread he started that actually got some traction was his Beer Time With a Member of the Forum.

It was hyperthymestic syndrome, rather than eidetic memory.  Unfortunately, it could make the month of November almost a literal living hell.  Being banned from BG four times in successive Novembers (two of the bannings on the same day) was one of the least lethal outcomes that could be anticipated. It's better to remember his exceptional contributions to early BG history, and there  were many, rather than his pitiful flameout(s).  Ironically, EC was one of the first members of the original "secret" forum.
Lone Voice, sorry for having missed this initially.

I thought the guy was brilliant, loved reading his posts.

I have bounced around quite a few forums in my time and he is singularly the most interesting character I've seen. A true eccentric in the wild.
