It's not his fault they put him on the team.  The Commissioner's office decided the fans wanted to see him.  This is about Rob Manfred and his lackeys.

This is true.  Fidrych once started and AllStar game as a rookie but he had been in the big leagues since the start of the year, pitched 10 complete games in 11 starts and had an ERA under 2.00
Those days are long gone now.

From the article Sean linked:

A 2.86 ERA is now ''electric''?

5 starts and he got roughed up in one of them.  Hasn't gone past the 6th inning yet.  He'll be a good one though.

Under 26 innings, i think I saw. If he were a closer with 26 innings over 27 games, different story.

MLB is compromising their integrity...

Baseball hasn't had integrity since the DH was implemented.

Well, if that rookie gets lit up, there's going to be a groundswell tidal wave of complaining.

For love of the game.  48 year old, former MLB pitcher, Fernando Rodney hanging on in Bark Balls Ontario pitching in the Intercounty Baseball League.

Rickey Henderson calling Will Clark "Thrill" whilst referring to himself in the 3rd person is rather hilarious

That is one dejected looking Southpaw.
