[yt_search]kids rock cocky[/yt_search

Not to be confused with being an asshole, but there's nothing wrong with a little confidence...or even a being bit cocky. People are sometimes intimidated by the greatness in others, but that is nothing to emulate. Whether working as a dishwasher, fry-order cook, ass-wiper of the infirm, soldier, or bored desk-jockey (all jobs I've done or am currently doing) pay attention to detail and do it to the best of your ability. Be proud and fuck the rest

It's really the Patty Loveless version you want to hear. If y'all good I'll post Pretty Polly in the not-so-distant future

Omg a cheesy song I love from the 80s has roots in the 60s and The Pretenders covered it. So three versions. I learned the original on bass tonight.

So the 80s cover which I first heard.

The 60s version

And finally The Pretenders

Chrissie Hynde's my favorite voice.

If I recall correctly, Juice Newton's foray into pop music was an attempt to make money for a sick husband's care...  I'll Google that after I post.
Eh, nevermind...
