Here is something for your mind.
Listened this morning and enjoyed, thank you. It seems Mr Lear has, not by much, changed his 9/11 story. Any idea when the holographic planes theory replaced his original version of the 747's being controlled remotely from the ground by Mossad agents?
Just for fun I pulled out a file folder containing a collection of notes I jotted down while listening to AB back in the good ole days. In that 9/11 show Lear gave 2 reasons why Israel needed a terrorist event on US soil:
1) a need to polarize US opinion against the Muslim world (global sentiment at the time was leaning toward David instead of Goliath).
2) to set up Bin Laden and use the US to take him out. Bin Laden had almost shut down the Taliban poppy trade which was creating a major $$ drain in the underground economy...no notes on why Lear thought Israel felt so inclined to save the poppies. And Lear did say that the US was "tricked into this". Would have been interesting to ask him about the story change and why...maybe next time?
Also in this interview Art shared that an early interview with Lear was the turning point in his career and the impetus for the C2C format.
Didn't mean to get carried away, but John Lear was a favorite guest of mine. I, like Art, found his directive to not go to the light a bit troublesome. He does sound a bit discombobulated these days but, hell, aren't we all? Again, good interview, Michael.
