This is a great label! I like!
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

Indeed it is.  I'd frame it and hang it on a wall.  It's beautiful yet the blue tree trunks along with the black shading makes it haunting in a way.

Shay, you just put your finger on a great way to display vintage fruit crate labels.  (Just now I went to my crate label supplier to see if the above label was in stock but he didn't have one.)  Decades ago I took some of my labels and decoupaged them onto wooden frames to be hung on walls.  It worked great.  Just another way to get the most out of those labels.

@Rikki Gins  Did you manage to keep any of the ones you hung, or were just lost over time?  Also, where did you hang them?  If I had a big enough kitchen I'd do something like that.  I would definitely frame the one I mentioned.  I came across alot of those over the years.  I appreciated them but never took interest.  Since you've been doing this thread I became interested.  Damn peer pressure!   ;D ;)

Hi @ShayP.  I only made about half a dozen decoupage projects.  Three of them were from paper soap containers with a different flower on each one.  I did a big one that showed a bear cub from a local pear orchard.  A big one that showed sweet potatoes and one small one that was round and made of a wooden knot hole plug.  (The plug fell from a tree, leaving a knot hole.)  I took that plug and hand sanded it for hours before decoupaging a small picture of a sailing ship that I had cut out of a larger fruit crate label.  The other labels were put on blank wooden plaques that can be purchased in hobby stores.  Those plaques come in all sizes and it was easy to find ones that fit the labels.  I would paint the plaques first and when dry, glue the labels down flat and apply layers of decoupage on top.  It's hard to remember but after that, I think I attached some wall hangers to them.  They came out very nice.  I don't have them because I utilized them as Christmas gifts, etc.  Thanks for your interest, Shay.

@FISH they are Porto ricans.  I don’t know about the Louisiana part.

I almost don't like Summer. Too hot and humid in Philly. However, I am a fan of the Jersey tomatoes and corn @anniem  ;)
Sweet potatoes are always at the top of my list. Happy growing...

@anniem I am going DOWN the SHORE for 7 days. I hope to buy some fresh fruits and vegetables. Outside my vacation home, a Jersey truck will be driving down the street selling fresh 'stuff.'

I hope you will be able to watch the waves, if not go in them @FISH . We would go to Bayhead. Also the Atlantic City Boardwalk. Wildwood. And though I didn't eat them, I enjoyed going crabbing. Maybe it is too early for that. One time we went picking blueberries. The mud stole my shoe.

The mud always steals shoes. I am an excellent crabber.
Catch you later... @anniem  ;)
