My splash of color is wearing the L.L.Bean's classic utility jacket in the winter--dusty olive.
I do wear a Bonhomme scarf in the winter. Ask @Bart Ell who is Bonhomme.
In the summer I wear a 100% cotton, double-sided printed paisley Bandana--black, gray or pink. Never RED.
I drink Starbucks coffee - 2 cups every morning-- summer, spring, fall and winter.
I play vinyl records.
HOWEVER, I am not a HIPSTER.
Thank you for the "welcome" Ms. Dot.

A possessed snowman with eyes of coal that steal the souls of English speaking children!
Bairyn bought Astronaut ice cream at  the L.L. Bean store in Maine.
That utility jacket looks like it would be a great place to store said ice cream.

I appreciate your choices, @FISH . Of course you're not a Hipster. That is just a supposed slur propagated by the tragically unhip. Besides, all the real Hipsters have been rounded up and re-located to specific settlements. Like North Park in San Diego. You are a proud individual who is not afraid to like what she likes. And that is always in Fashion. But always best to check with @PolkaDot , just in case

I do not speak FRENCH.
After visiting old Quebec City many times in the summer, I finally went to Quebec’s Winter Carnival. I walked into an outdoor tent to buy a Bonhomme scarf. I did not know his name was Bonhomme @Bart Ell .
In subzero weather, with my poor English. I asked to buy a scarf with the “little ice cream man" on it. I was unaware that this was a snowman. I thought it was an 'ice cream' man. The sales person looked at me like I was nuts. Her English was as bad as my French.
I was wearing my Bonhomme’s Effigy.  I should have just pointed to my effigy. Since my eye balls were starting to freeze, I just walked away empty handed.
So Yes Mr. Bart, my utility jacket looks great with my 'little ice cream man' scarf.

Fashion only exist in warm sunny areas.
In the far Northeast there is no fashion.
However, I will listen to other's advice.  ;)

That is so funny! I blame sunny climes (and my petite stature) for my lack of fashion sense. Hats, coats, boots, layers, even heavier materials can't be tolerated. When the weather warms up just a tad and I feel the Spring stirrings I will resurrect the TigerLily BohoChic Collection here. My meager attempt at Fashion posting

Serious question, can someone please please tell me why the brown Louis Vuitton purses with the yellow logo are so popular?  It seems like just about every Waman is packing one around, and to me they are hideous. 

(Never mind that brown should rarely be a fashion choice, that's a different post)

I have no idea- I wouldn't be caught dead with one. Prestige of the label maybe? It's like Coach, ladies love Coach. *shrug* When often you could just make a purse out of actual money and it would be more attractive.

@FISH - I have a couple of casual go-to winter coats.

This is one of them from Patagonia. It's an 800 Fill, it packs down really nice for hiking and it's keeps me nice and warm in the winter. For every day or packing it's awesome. It comes in great colors too. Check it out:
