The Spring snow has me thinking cashmere.

I'm loving this...it's kind of a throwback to the 90s with it's boxy cut.

And the fashion gods tell us we're going to be seeing a lot more of the lace, pointelle type effects this year....

Ralph Lauren Pre-Spring 2020 is just screaming SPRING! I'm loving how bright and happy these are.

I'm not usually a Ralph Lauren girl, but kinda loving these...

I've seen a few of the silk slip dresses over the last few months around and about....and I'm really hoping this is going to be a thing. So comfy to wear and just sumptuous. They have to be cut correctly and RL has done a good job here:

I wear what I want when I want it. *shrug* I dress for myself and not others and I know what looks good on my body. I still like seeing beautiful things that would not be right for me or in colors I would not wear.

The problem is unless something is a "thing" it can be difficult to find...especially in specific colors. The fashion industry has a habit of deciding what a color (for example) is going to be i.e. the fall/winter 2020 color is apparently black. It might be a gorgeous piece of clothing but if that season scours yellow is THE color - Am I going to wear that? FUCK NO. So then you're stuck with whatever the neutral is -for me that ends up being gray or black. That gets boring and so when beautiful pieces come up in colors (which for me are generally jewel tones) and fabrics I love (silk!!!) like above I get excited. It means there will be options without too much pain.

I don't watch much in the way of actual tv so I don't have any context for this. I would assume that they still have their make-up, clothing, and hair people to arrange them in whatever manner the network wants. So...do you have something specific in mind? Also, am I going to regret asking this @juan ?

They say they do not have their makeup and hair people - that they are having to do their own at home.
@PolkaDot i don’t think you’ll regret asking. I happen to think many women look better with little or no makeup.
