FOR THE RECORD!!!!
Almost two years ago, when I decided to start using the "We Own The Night" slogan for Spaced Out Radio, it was two fold.
1) I've always been a huge military aircraft buff. And during the first Gulf War, the F-117 Stealth Fighter Squadron used that slogan because they knew they were feared. So my love for jets was a symbol to those who fly because I never got the opportunity to live my dream of flying in the Canadian Armed Forces due to pins in my knees, and glasses.
2) The poster I've attached below is what Spaced Out Radio's "We Own The Night" is all about. It's about the darkest nightmares many people have, and about them owning the night, NOT Spaced Out Radio or me as a host. Oh a much different meaning indeed. The poster, who was perfectly created by my friend Kerri, like she took the picture right out of my head signifies everything about the topics we love.
So that's what "We Own The Night" is all about. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with ego, or my show being one up on anyone else's.
