Mother in law diagnosed with endometrial squamous cell carcinoma.   Basically cancer in the uterus.  I do not get along with mother in law, but my wife is struggling.  So lots to deal with. Anyhow, just more to deal with along with life.

have not heard much of the show.  But I agree with the guest on that they all seem to be the same.

Ghost hunting.  Well just had a long talk with my closest uncle this weekend about paranormal stuff.  He and I were closest to my Grandmother, his mother.  We shared a lot of similar experiences.  anyhow, he went on a tour of Pocatello Saturday on a "haunted tour."  I know, I know, it is what it is.  But the fact is I know some of these places have been having paranormal activity for decades.  How?  My whole family grew up there for the last century.  Lots of stories.  Anyhow, he had a fun time and got some interesting pictures.  That said, we had a whole tangent conversation about his eldest brother's house and the experiences we had both had in his house and basement.  Seems like most of our "ghostly" experiences all happened when we were not looking for them.

I truly wish I had some creepy or crazy halloween stories.  I just don't.  I have plenty of paranormal stories.  Weird crazy stuff.  But just not on halloween.  sigh............

Magic?  Hey, it could be.  But I mean magic not in the sense that it is illusion, but stuff happens that we cannot explain.  I have seen stuff that is just flat out cannot be explained.  That said, I sure wish I could see that kind of stuff with sasquatch.

I want one of those rockets.  I have never had one.  I want one.  I loved pop rocks.  I don't recall pop rocks hurting birds.  It was not pop rocks that did that to birds.  that is a myth.  It was alka seltzer.  not trying to be a bummer.  But there are a lot of myths that are not true about pop rocks.

my best costume was when I went as a grim reaper.  The only reason I say it was the best is because I sat on a chair at the end of the driveway with a cooler full of candy in front of me and a fireplace in back of me.  I acted like a mechanical robot with my movements.  I left the cooler open.  And when the kids would finally come up and reach for candy I would grab them.  The lost their minds.  Oh, I forgot to mention I had the theme to halloween playing on loop.  Heck, I will do that again this year.

I made a flasher costume in 1981 or 1982.  I had an old man mask and a old ratty trench coat.  I cut off a tie and white shirt just below my nipples and cut off an old pair of checkered bell bottoms at the knees and held the pant legs up with rubber bands just below my knees.  I bought some paisley bikini underwear and iron on letters that said “FLASH” across the front. Then I sewed in some battery operated christmas lights around the waist band.  I ran bell wires to a 6volt battery in my jacket pocket and a toggle switch in the sleeve of the jacket. Finished it off with cotton gloves with the fingers cut off and a walking stick.

I took second place in a big bar in Omaha. I got beat by a chick dressed as a Christmas tree. There was a lot of groping on the dance floor that night.
