Depression and anxiety are terrible things. Stress definitely adds to down feelings. I hope you start to feel more better soon.

I honestly thought I'd have been dead by now. I was not in a good mental place in my teens and early 20s.

How old are you now?  Doesn’t seem to have gone away by my 40s. I do believe some live in a fantasy world.

I'm 31. I still have my bad times, but it's not nearly as frequent. I understand that I'll probably need to be medicated for the rest of my life, but it helps me so...

43 now and will never be medicated and on some superior poindexters list. I’d rather be dead first. I really do hope the best for you though and am sad the Olympic Games got pushed out a year!

Say you give $10 to the SuperChat. Then they charge your Google account $10.60 or what looks to be like a 6% surcharge.

Youtube keeps 30%

I've tried various things, therapy, meditation, holistic, and a crap ton of medication swapping to figure out a good mix that worked with minimal side effects. I'll be very happy if I find something that can take me off the medications. But for now, it helps so I'll take it.

There are a lot of clinical trials involving psilocybin and the treatment of depression.  A company called Compass Pathways has been given fasttrack approval for development of a therapy and is very close to finishing their clinical trials.

Here is a link to one of the various clinical trials
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/29119217

Big pharma is running scared because the depression industry in the US brings in about $250billion per year. Psilocybin is, for many, a one time treatment.

Part of the problem is I was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. I'm not sure how that would affect things.

But yes, Big pharma is an ass.
