Monsters Abound with Stan GordonSince 1965, Stan Gordon has been conducting on scene investigations of mysterious encounters in Pennsylvania. He has been involved with the examination of thousands of UFO and other strange reports from across the Keystone State. During the late 1960’s, Stan acted as a telephone report sighting coordinator for the UFO Research Institute of Pittsburgh. Stan has been internationally recognized as an authority on the subject of the UFO and Bigfoot phenomena.He gained prominence from his first hand investigation into the well remembered 1973 UFO/Bigfoot series of sightings and encounters which occurred in Pennsylvania. He founded the Westmoreland County UFO Study Group in 1970, which expanded to the Pennsylvania Center For UFO Research in 1975. In 1981 he founded the Pennsylvania Association For the Study Of The Unexplained.Stan Gordon served as the Pennsy1vania State Director of the Mutual UFO Network for many years and was the first recipient (1978) of the annual MUFON “Meritorious Achievement in A UFO Investigation Award.†Stan also continues to investigate information concerning the controversial UFO crash/retrieval case which occurred on December 9, 1965 near Kecksburg in Pennsylvania and has been the primary investigator of the event for many years.

Science Bob & Friends!The second Wednesday of every month, we bring in our resident Spaced Out Radio scientist, Bob McGwier to discuss the scientific side of the supernatural and paranormal. Each month, ‘Science Bob’ will bring a guest with a scientific or research background to talk about the practical and scientific side to the high strangeness that surrounds us. ‘Science Bob’ has specialized his work in the field of Artificial Intelligence and has been leading the way using computer technology to help detect UFOs/UAPs in the skies over the United States. He received his BSEE Electrical Engineering and BS Applied Math from Auburn University, and his PhD in Applied Mathematics from Brown University. Dr. McGwier also worked at Sandia National Labs in Albuquerque starting in 1977 and was faculty Auburn University 1984-1986, Institute for Defense Analyses, Center for Communications Research from 1986-2011. Most recently, Science Bob retired as a faculty member of Virginia Tech where he worked since 2011 as Professor and Chief Scientist of the Ted and Karyn Hume Center for National Security and Technology.Special Guest: John Alexander – Dr. John Alexander entered the U.S. Army as a private in 1956 and was a colonel when he retired. His second career was at Los Alamos National Laboratory where he created the military effort in development of non-lethal weapons and which involved him with the National Research Council, NATO, and the Army Science Board. His graduate studies include an MA, Pepperdine University, Ph.D. Walden University, and programs at The Kennedy School of Government, Harvard, Sloan School, MIT, and Anderson School, UCLA. An Aviation Week Aerospace Laureate, and listed in American Men and Women of Science, he is a past president of the International Assn. for Near-Death Studied, three-term councilor, Society for Scientific Exploration, and founding board member of the International Remote Viewer’s Assn. He is the author of many articles, monographs and books including UFOS: Myths, Conspiracies, and Realities with forewords by Jacques Vallee, Tom Clancy, and Burt Rutan.
A Different Future? with Sean Patrick HazlettSean Patrick Hazlett is a technologist, finance professional, and science fiction, fantasy, horror, and non-fiction author and editor working in Silicon Valley. He has published over a hundred research reports on clean energy, semiconductors, and enterprise software including Wall Street’s first comprehensive market analysis of opportunities in the smart grid, which was cited twice in The Economist (See “Making Every Drop Count†and “Smart Grids: Wiser Wiresâ€).
