loginScience Bob and Friends! With special guest Jeremy McGowan! The second Wednesday of every month, we bring in our resident Spaced Out Radio scientist, Bob McGwier to discuss the scientific side of the supernatural and paranormal. Each month, ‘Science Bob’ will bring a guest with a scientific or research background to talk about the practical and scientific side to the high strangeness that surrounds us. ‘Science Bob’ has specialized his work in the field of Artificial Intelligence and has been leading the way using computer technology to help detect UFOs/UAPs in the skies over the United States. He received his BSEE Electrical Engineering and BS Applied Math from Auburn University, and his PhD in Applied Mathematics from Brown University.
Dr. McGwier also worked at Sandia National Labs in Albuquerque starting in 1977 and was faculty Auburn University 1984-1986, Institute for Defense Analyses, Center for Communications Research from 1986-2011. Most recently, Science Bob retired as a faculty member of Virginia Tech where he worked since 2011 as Professor and Chief Scientist of the Ted and Karyn Hume Center for National Security and Technology.

Special Guest: Jeremy McGowanA trained observer, investigator, and veteran of the United States Air Force. He built what Luis Elizondo called the “world’s first mobile UAP tracker” – the O.S.I.R.I.S. (Off-road Scientific Investigation & Response Informatics System.) He is heavily embedded into the UFO/UAP community and appeared on History Channel’s “Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation.” His research and growth journey in the UAP community started in 1995 when he witnessed a still unknown event while deployed with the United States Air Force in Jordan. Jeremy guarded what is thought to have been a recovered nuclear device when he saw a UAP exhibiting extreme flight characteristics that appeared non-conformant with the current known laws of flight and physics.
Over the next 25 years, Jeremy never forgot his singular experience. Then, as chance would have it, a serendipitous viewing of a random episode of “Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation” gave him the push to attempt to validate his experience by writing about it on Reddit and asking the internet community to help him identify the person who was with him on his deployment. While that person to this day remains anonymous, producers for the History Channel contacted Jeremy. They enabled him to present his story to the world in Season two, episode three, “UFOs & Nukes.”
Since then, Jeremy has become one of the leading voices in the UFO/UAP community. He has appeared on over ten podcasts, is involved in making a television series, and is spearheading a citizen-led grassroots effort to fast-track the ideas of disclosure.
Not accepting the generational information drip of declassification without explanation from the US Government, Jeremy created his own UAP tracker, which utilizes, as its backbone, a SkyHub (
www.skyhub.org) unit in conjunction with a multitude of other scientific data measurement devices.
As a trained investigator, a prior pilot, and armed with a little technical knowledge, Jeremy pushes forward, seeking answers and researching what one of the most intriguing and unknown elements of existence, “What is the Phenomenon?“
In addition to his quest for understanding, he is engaged in building a team of volunteers to create and maintain a platform that allows for scientific research of the phenomenon without investors’ restrictions or the agenda of corporations or governments.
Jeremy owns and operates the O.S.I.R.I.S. and can be found throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico with his unique vehicle while investigating, classifying, recording, and experiencing this phenomenon – all with the singular goal of providing answers to the world and not allowing data to end up obscured or hidden from the world.
