Preston Dennett began investigating UFOs and the paranormal in 1986 when he discovered that his family, friends and co-workers were having dramatic unexplained encounters. Since then, he has interviewed hundreds of witnesses and investigated a wide variety of paranormal phenomena. He is a field investigator for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), a ghost hunter, a paranormal researcher, and the author of thirteen books and more than 100 articles on on UFOs and the paranormal.

Ron Murphy has been investigating the stuff of nightmares for over 30 years. He has investigated the things that go bump in the night and meticulously researched the historical and psychological context of myths and legends from around the world. Mr. Murphy seeks to uncover the archetypal precedent for the monsters that haunt our collective thoughts.  The man known as  the ‘Crypto Guru’ has professionally published short stories, poetry, had a play produced, and this, his first novella. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in literature, Mr. Murphy studied medieval history at the graduate level at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. His interests include acting, playwriting, and photography. He lives in rural Western Pennsylvania with his wife and five children.

Called by Wired Magazine an “authority on the hermetic and alchemical traditions,” Jay Weidner is a renowned filmmaker, author and scholar. Considered to be a ‘modern-day Indiana Jones’ for his ongoing worldwide quests to find clues to mankind’s spiritual destiny via ancient societies and artifacts, his body of work offers great insight into the circumstances that have led to the current global crisis. He was also featured in the documentary, Room 237, in Brad Meltzer’s Decoded, and in Jesse Ventura’s, Conspiracy Theory (TruTV). In 1991, Jay joined KCMU Public Radio in Seattle. He hosted the six-hour weekly interview program, Mind Over Matters, and was also the Public Affairs Director. In 1996, Jay became one of the first employees of a start-up company called Gaiam for which he was the Video Production Development Director until he departed in 2000.

In 2000, he founded Sacred Mysteries together with his wife, Sharron Rose. He has directed 15 films in the current Sacred Mysteries DVD Collection including, The Last Avatar, Infinity, Secrets of Alchemy, Artmind, Healing the Luminous Body, Quantum Astrology, Sophia Returning and more.

The Restless Sleep with Stacy Horn

Stacy Horn is the author of six previous nonfiction books, including Damnation Island:  Poor, Sick, Mad & Criminal in 19th Century New York, Imperfect Harmony: Finding Happiness Singing With Others, and The Restless Sleep: Inside New York City’s Cold Case Squad. Her last book, described on The Bowery Boys Podcast as “your page-turning horror read for the summer,” turned out to be excellent preparation for the horror read she was to write next.

Horn lives in New York City, and when she’s not researching and writing she’s singing with the Choral Society of Grace Church, and regularly getting her ass kicked by murder cats at the animal hospital where she works.  “Give me a pitbull any day,” she is known to say.  “Pitbulls are the sweetest.  Cats are MEAN.”  (Horn is a devoted cat owner.)

It was just as I shared with no extra branding or connection to anything.. just flat out weird.  Alas,  the net does what it does.  A few years ago when my flooring company was booming There was a similar image attached to my logo of a hungry child with a distended belly. I tried without success to get to the bottom of it but my efforts were in vein.  Again. Fucking weird..

Tonight’s Special Guest is Andrea Perron

My name is Andrea Perron. I am the eldest daughter of Roger & Carolyn Perron. I have four sisters: Nancy, Christine, Cynthia and April. My birthdate: October 10, 1958…the only one of five siblings to be born in Rhode Island. I was just two months old when my parents bought our first home in Willimantic, Connecticut, where all my sisters came into the world.

A burgeoning family required more space so we bought a larger home in Cumberland, R.I. when I was six. Living in a suburb of Providence proved disquieting. After six years my mother decided her girls required a place in the country in which to grow and thrive. In June of 1970 she found a glorious farm, then she and my father moved mountains to buy what was known as the old Arnold Estate; two-hundred acres of land with a big barn and a farmhouse; plenty of space to spread out and explore Nature. It was the perfect place to raise a family, according to the owner, though he failed to disclose a crucial element of the experience he endured as an occupant.

The day we moved in, he told my father: “…leave the lights on at night.” A rather cryptic message. Thus began an incredible odyssey; a supernatural excursion through dimensions of time and space as the history of its characters from the ages began to reveal themselves to seven mortals who could not conceive of and never anticipated such events transpiring in our lives. For almost a decade our family lived among the dead. There we came to understand that we are not alone and there is something beyond mortal existence. I graduated from high school in 1976 and attended Chatham College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Graduating in 1980 with an interdisciplinary degree in Philosophy and English, it was during my senior year when my mother announced the sale of the farm was pending. I was heart broken. In spite of the trials, it was “home” and I loved it. Returning to Rhode Island, we were there only a few weeks before relocating to Georgia; long enough to pack and say goodbye. It was over. Though we abandoned our place in the country, it never left us. Memory is powerful.

I’ve spent my life since engaging in a variety of endeavors. Georgia did not suit me. After seven years I went home to R.I. Though I have always been a writer, I have likewise explored my own creative abilities. As a professional singer, songwriter, musician and actor, my time has been full of adventures and interesting characters. For more than twenty years I was a cast member with The Theatre Company of Rhode Island, performing on the stage of The Assembly Theater, the historic centerpiece of Harrisville. For the last ten years I lived in R.I. I was employed as a youth counselor at Harmony Hill School in Chepachet and lived in the village of Harmony, in a quaint cottage on Waterman Lake, also known as paradise on a pond. In 2007 I began writing the manuscript which has now evolved into the trilogy “House of Darkness House of Light” and relocated (again) to Georgia to be with my family while embarking on such a major project involving all of them as well. It has proved to be quite an excursion in its own right, spawning some nightmares while exhuming our memories of the dead. Often painful, it has been a healing process as well, as each revisited a past impacting our present, clearly mapping the future of a family. There was no escaping unscathed, though we thought we has successfully done so at the time.

This is a story whose time has come. Many have spoken or written about fragments of the story for decades. Now is the time to tell the whole truth about what happened in a house alive with death as we lived an illuminating decade of life. It is a tale worth telling because it is true. Time has come because we are ready to disclose our secrets and the world is ready to receive them.

The Science of Consciousness with Dr. Bob Davis

Dr. Robert Davis is an internationally recognized scientist in his field, and after receiving his doctorate degree in 1981, he conducted research, taught, and was an administrator for the State University of New York for over thirty years. He has spoken about his scientific research on the effects of toxic stimuli on the brain and sensory systems in venues that vary from national and international scientific conferences, and has published over sixty articles in scholarly journals. Bob has spoken on over one hundred national and international radio shows and podcasts about his research on the extraordinary states and potential of human consciousness. He has also written three books entitled: 1) The UFO Phenomenon: Should I Believe? 2) Life after Death: An Analysis of the Evidence, and 3) Unseen Forces: The Integration of Science, Reality and You, and published articles based on these books in the Journal of Consciousness Studies, the Journal of Scientific Exploration, and Edge Science. Bob has lectured on these topics at national and international conferences, and has been interviewed on numerous podcasts, radio shows, and documentaries. Bob is also currently in co-production with Emmy Award winning filmmaker, Dave Beaty of Dreamtime Entertainment developing a documentary called: The Consciousness Connection

Alternative States of Consciousness with Samantha Lee Treasure

Samantha Lea Treasure became interested in the anthropology of out-of-body experiences (OBEs) after my own recurring experiences in 2009. I’m particularly interested in the future of OBEs and similar experiences.   Since 2013, I’ve delivered talks in Japan, the UK, Russia and the US on the culture and phenomenology of OBEs, and explored OBE figures in comparison with lucid dream characters for my BSc thesis.​

My goal is to help destigmatise these experiences and to offer helpful information to people in an ethical, neutral and unbiased way.
