Did anyone else do Dexter: New Blood ?  Best season of them all.

..anyone?

Yes. I'm on the third or fourth episode. Really good! I'm always up for a righteous kill. I am really enjoying the inclusion of Harrison and his friends

Way to go, LILY!  Glad you're enjoying it.

While down with the Cron and bored oot' of our skulls we stumbled upon a netflix series called, OZARK.  Surprisingly good and now we must see it through.
(4 seasons)

Zeta, I'm sorry but you are speaking out of turn. Lily and I were about to engage in a lovely discussion about the latest installment of Showtimes, Dexter series but now you've ruined it - killed the moment and broken any momentum we almost had.

Thanks.
HAVE A GREAT NIGHT!

Just finished season one of Wheel of Time on Amazon Prime. Hey! That's a rhyme! And one more time!
Anyway, based on the series of Sword and Sorcery books by Robert Jordan. Very well done. Intelligent. Plenty of action. Interesting characters. I'm on pins and needles until season 2 comes out in November. WARNING to all you chauvinist pigs: The women may all be beautiful and scantily dressed but they are totally in charge. And btw nice male eye candy. Just how I like my fantasies. TigerLily thumbs up

I'm watching it and I love it.  I'm almost through season one.  I'd be further in but I'm not much into TV for too long.  I still can't believe I never gave this show a shot.   I'd love to have Dean's car.  That Impala is sweet!

Yay @ShayP ! I'm glad you are enjoying it! Would Lily ever steer you wrong? If you are a slow watcher just think. Eleven or was it 13 seasons to savor. At some time I probably will watch them all over again. On my deathbed or with the Covid-85.  I know. Baby is a sweet ride

@TigerLily I'm laughing at "Covid-85'  I've been getting DVDs through Netflix.  I don't do the streaming thing.  I'm almost done with season 2.  This is my favorite thing to watch.  There are only 3 or 4 episodes on each DVD.  If there were more I'd be further along.  Oh well.

I know you wouldn't steer me wrong.  ;)

Oh, I think it's actually 14 seasons.  Lots of watching to do!

Funny, I was just contemplating asking everyone on my account if they're still watching anything. Other than season 4 of Stranger Things, and the hope that Derry Girls comes back on for another season, I think I'm done with them. I haven't opened the account for a few weeks, it seems.

I have been watching the final season of Mr Mayor.

Season 2 has not been very good after a short season 1 showed a lot of promise. I stopped mid-episode 8 and tried to resume after a few days of rest, just can't do it.

I must say Holly Hunter has really impressed me with her comedy chops. I would not mind seeing her in many other shows what she has lost and looks with all the wrinkles and stuff, she has added in just a lovable antagonist.

Re: TV Series Binge Watching: DB COOPER
« Reply #254 on: July 17, 2022, 05:25:38 PM »
For those who like the true crime - cold case files, Netflix has the docuseries Where Are You DB Cooper

Originally in movie format they have it broken down into four parts. An easy one-day binge. The movie is close to three hours long, but I liked having it in segments just as well. IMO they could have condensed the thing down to a great 90-minute movie or three-part series because they really try to get a lot of unnecessary mileage out of some parts.

If you have not seen it, but plan to watch it, you not want to scroll down. It IS worth the watch though. However, one time is enough.

Episode 1. Great! Well done, and it sucks you right in.
Episode 2. Great as well. They have a definite candidate, and the guy is alive and well at the time this investigation took place. 2013
Episode 3. More of episode two. This is bloat. Not needed but it's,  ok.
Episode 4. Very good! However, they seem to be off about the main suspect and begin focusing on a Canadian fighter pilot who also fit the profile very well.

....................and then..............

SPOILER

What's the takeaway? NOTHING! Nobody agrees and nothing is 100% nailed down. If anything, things are narrowed down to just the possible two suspects covered in episodes 2,3,and 4 where the fighter pilot comes in.

In short: No real answers and nobody is happy, you may feel a tad ripped off as you want you day back.
