Hate it already - just from the picture.  ;)
Come on Walks! Scarpetta is pretty hot in it. Though his sex scenes are pretty weak.
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

The More Star Trek Roku channel has moved on from Deep Space 9 to Voyager.
😭

After a tough first season, I really came to love DS9. It got closer to Star Wars in feel (not a positive thing for me), but I still liked it more than the TOS and liked the stories better than 50% of TNG stories.
Eh, nevermind...

Or if you do want something rather elderly, The Bob Newhart Show is available on Amazon Prime.  Great chance to sharpen your drinking skills with a game of Hi Bob while watching. Big gulp of cheap beer for every "Bob" and you shotgun a can for every "Hi Bob!".  To mix things up, you can blow up your buddy on occasion too.

I have both the Bob Newhart show and Newhart DVD box sets. They are ripped into digital and on my external drive in the TV section. I like them.

So many TV shows I try to get into and they mostly wind up being terrible or at least not engaging enough, that I usually just go back to the Sopranos, X-Files or random documentaries. Watched one on hippos last night. What a bunch of assholes these animals are.

I was just a wee wee lad when some dude killed the hippo at the Detroit Zoo. I remember that but wasn't aware of the other hell raining down on the beasts at the time.  Jesus......

The Nation: Animal Farm
Monday, June 28, 1971

The director of the Detroit zoo hired four new security guards last week, not to contain the wildness within the cages, but to protect the animals from the inhumanity of man. In the past two years, the zoo population has been victimized by deliberate acts of brutality. A baby Australian wallaby left the protection of its mother's pouch and was stoned to death; a duck died with a steel-tipped hunting arrow in its breast. A pregnant reindeer miscarried after firecracker-hurling youths bombed the frantic animal into convulsions. Visitors have been observed dropping lighted cigar butts on the backs of alligators, watching the ashes burn through the reptiles' skin, then breaking into laughter when the alligators reacted to the severe burn. Finally, the zoo's male hippopotamus choked to death last week after someone responded to the hippo's open-mouthed begging for peanuts by rolling a tennis ball down its throat. The zookeepers were left to wonder whether it was their charges or their visitors that really should be caged.

They can open their mouths wider than any animal on the planet except for Senda.

And they're very nasty.

Causing an estimated 500 deaths annually (as compared to only 22 for lions), hippos are deadly land mammals. This is because they are very aggressive and territorial, and have a habit of charging at boats and capsizing them.

This hit a nerve for me. I will never forget seeing Guy the Gorilla in the London Zoo about 1977. He was in such a small enclosure there was no privacy whatever from the mobs of children screaming at the glass on both sides. He sat as far away as possible in the middle with his head down. There was a moment he turned for some reason and looked directly at me. Our minds met and I swear he said, exactly and sadly, "What did I ever do to deserve this?"

According to Wikipedia, "Guy died in 1978 of a heart attack during an operation on his infected teeth. His tooth decay had been caused by the fact that visitors were allowed to feed him sweets."

They ought to put all zoo animals into nature preserves with nobody but caretakers to observe them.  Cameras can be set up so that people can watch them, like at the elephant sanctuary in Tennessee.  https://www.elephants.com/

There's a special place in hell for people who abuse animals.

This is excellent, Sir David Attenborough's "Wild Isles", available on Amazon Prime:

And "Our Planet II" is on Netflix next month:

That saddens me a great deal. And I believe you. @Rainman
