Originally it was only meant to be one season from what I read many months ago so it almost seems like S2 was written on the fly, so-to-speak. Episodes 4-8 have been on the slide downwards. 9 wasn't too bad so we shall see.

The Pitt. I've heard of it.  Hmm.  I allow myself one show at a time so with Landman being done until S3 begins I'll look into this.. Pitt. Sounds scary so I'm hoping for a horror/Thriller sort of ride...

Nope. Just the brutal fast paced reality of an overloaded emergency department in real time. There is no dumbing down of the technical terminology. Not for the squeamish if you faint at the sight of blood or medical procedures. Still plenty of emotional interaction between characters. Every episode just seems to whip by.

@Smokin Hot Bob Did you like the way they ended season 2? I was good with it even though there were several other directions they could have went in, almost all of them much darker paths but they went with the "today we win" setting the table for S3 with cautious optimism.

A satisfying wrap for several problematic plotlines. Season cliffhangers can be over the top irritating. We are still left with the feeling things can go south very fast. Garcia the mob boss tycoon made a menacing remark that might foreshadow the dread to come.

I’m two episodes in and it’s really good! The main actors are adorable and they have this kinda fun, hot awkward thing going on between them. There’s a big undercurrent of family drama and expectations and disfunction. It’s a lot more well rounded than i expected. So far, I like!

I’ve been skipping it bc it gets mediocre reviews, but this actually looks cheeky and fun and slightly dangerous. Sold!
