Is that an ozone air filter? We used them for years in NYC, they were really good! We still have one going here just to deal with different particulate matter. If it is an ozone filter, they are not unsafe in occupied rooms if they are on a low setting, btw. I think ours were Alpine ones, iirc. Expensive but very very good!

It is a commercial version, and yes if used on a lower setting they are quite safe inside. But ozone being ozone it can at higher levels eat some lung tissue, so caution is advised.

We reached out to Amy, Ramsay and a former Amy’s Baking Company employee, but sadly they did not return our phone calls and e-mails.

But we did a little digging, and came up with answers to the questions you’re probably wondering on this momentous anniversary:

Where are they now?

The Bouzaglos are California dreamin’ in Los Angeles. Public records indicate Amy, 43, and Samy, 66, are settled in Westwood, Calif., a small enclave near the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Records searches and Google searches indicate they currently reside in a posh, five-unit condominium building that features primarily 2-bedroom, 2.75-bath homes for rent, ranging from about 2,100 to 2,300 square feet. (The building's top-floor penthouse is larger.) In addition, Pinal County property records show the Bouzaglos still own a home in Arizona. The 2,700-square-foot property in Gold Canyon was purchased for $366,300 in 2004, according to the assessor's website.

Is she still baking?

Isn't there some movement with several defections from Corbyn's labour party? Might that affect Parliament's voting process to give May something to work with?

Uh-oh, I've strayed into politics, even if British and not American. I'm not trying to advocate a position here, just observing the process. I have a client with an office in London who is about to tear his hair out and is making expensive alternative plans if it's a hard break. Very distressing for all!

Funnily enough the southern states of the US I do not get bad heat rash the way I do almost everywhere else. I fell asleep on a subbed on Miami Beach in February once and burnt very badly but it turned into the best tan I ever had.

@DynamoHum, sorry I haven't been to this thread in several days, I only just saw your reply.

Just to let you know, you, Mr. DynamoHum, Ringo and Bailey have first dibs on our extra space. You'd all be welcome to lounge around the pool in our lanai (lovely rented house), or whatever. Weather's mostly nice. However, the food here in restaurants leaves this fussy NY'er disappointed, so there's that. But Brexit, it isn't.  +1
