What a surprise ... I went to Discord around 7:30 pm eastern time 😱 — and after reading a bit of comments, realized that I totally missed the post where you mentioned the earlier start!

But wr250 had just then put the podcast up ... so I was able to listen (just not live).

I thoroughly enjoyed the podcast and agree with all that @FISH says.

@DynamoHum @wr250 and @SpookyTim.  I thank all of you for a fun, flowing and enjoyable show.

thanks!

thanks!
haunted dolls freak me out.
@wr250 , a few years ago, I picked up a 1930's Shirley Temple Composition Doll as a Christmas present for my mom. My mom grew up during the Great Depression. My mom and her sisters would make Shirley Temple paper dolls from brown paper bags. The doll I purchased for my Mom was in poor condition. I fixed that Shirley up!. I discovered I had a talent for fixing up dolls from the early 1900's. I ended up with a doll hospital. I sold and brought dolls on Ebay. I sold a 1930's Shirley Temple Doll to a wealth lady in NYC. After the sale, this lady wrote to me that the doll was haunted. The doll's eyes were turning yellow/gold color. The doll's eyes were following her. She wanted a refund. After great consideration, I did not grant her wish for a refund. I explained to her that no doll could be guarantee that it is not haunted. If the doll I sold was damaged or misrepresent, I would give her a refund. My life became complicated and I had to put my doll business on hold. I now have about 200 dolls stored in one of my upstairs bedrooms. Time for me to go back into the business.
@SpookyTim  is correct, there is a market for haunted items. Only one time did an old doll gave me the creeps.  I had made plans to repair that old doll and resell her. Instead, I put her in the trash. I did not want her in my home. :(

it would of been better to encase the doll in salt, then send to the dump.

:( That's no fun. I'd would have found her a rocking chair and a prominent place in the living room. Angry old dolls just need love.

@Dyna-X - I really tried to help love this old doll. Every time I touch her, I would get grossed out. I put her out of sight for awhile. I would get the feeling that this doll was "abused" for some kind of freaky sex act. Crazy thinking, I know. I have repaired over 100 dolls. This was my only "bad doll" experience. She just had to GET OUT of my doll hospital.

Maybe she needed a doll therapist, not a doll surgeon, so to speak.
The whole injured and abused doll thing gets me to the core, its too metaphorical with spiritual overlays. Any of us can end up the injured or spooky doll.

@FISH - you should have given the refund and relisted it as haunted for double the price.

Edit - I hate autocorrect on this iPad. It must be haunted.

Thank you @wr250 , @DynamoHum and @SpookyTim . Great show. I now see another side to Tim. Never realized how many years he has in this field. As always, Dynamo used her style of interviewing. She has a professional respectful manner and allows her guest to speak. WR is so fast with the download and the sound is perfect. This show touched on some of my favorite topics. Hellier and haunted dolls.
I totally agree. Loved the show. Excellent job by all.

@juan , I have good mojo with repairing antique toys. I would lose my mojo if I started to be a grifter. Thanks for your advise, but no thanks.;). I don't want or need haunted things around me. Please do not respond to my comment with your HAUNTED iPad.
