Can you drive a stick shift car?

I drove a manual transmission grey market diesel Mercedes for a couple of years in the late 80s. What a monster car!

Nowadays, with CVT transmission problems all over the place, manual transmissions may be the way to go in the future, if they offer them at all.

I drive a Prius (of course). I hate to admit it would be really annoying to go back to shifting

Farm girl here ... learned how to drive on a tractor and stick shift car. One never knows when those skills may come in handy again. 😁😁😁

I was 18 when I learned to shift. While learning I would stall at every. stop. sign. Every. And sometimes cry 😿. Truck drivers watching me try and fail would grind their gears on purpose. I could never tell if they were mocking or sympathetic

Yes.
I bought one for $200 when I was 17 and learned to drive it on the way home.
Got rid of the last one I ever plan on having 2 months ago.
Pain in the ass now that there are stop signs on every corner.
