And for @GravitySucks - at least he seems to be on the less damaging side of the storm.
Merry Christmas - Nice things, and posts, are nicer than nasty things.

So far so good.  Gasoline sold out yesterday by 4pm because the ordered evacuation of Galveston in the morning.  The tide started seeping into the street about 8am.  High tide was about 7:30am but low tide is at 10:28 tonight so that has been helping.  Another foot or so and the pool will flood again.  I moved a few miles inland to wait it out.  After I moved anything of value upstairs.

For the most part it was sunny and breezy all day.  Hasn’t rained here yet. I feel bad for the people that waited in Port Arthur.  They shut down all the bridges a few hours ago when the winds got over 40mph.

Guess we will see what daylight brings.
Are we having fun yet?

Fuck lift bridges.
Also fuck bascule bridges.
Why such strong feelings around bridges @Bart Ell ?
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.
