He learned loooong ago to give input because I might get a bee in my bonnet and come home with an electric purple pixie cut and an eyebrow piercing.
I've only done that once....okay, maybe twice.  ;D

I was born and raised there.  :)
I know @anniem For the record - the best lasagna I've ever had was at Yesterdays Restaurant , Hazlet/Keyport NJ. The meat is a specially seasoned house-blend using only the finest of mob hit victims fingers and earlobes. MMmm MMm!!

I took an Italian class in high school, the teacher was a man who came from Italy. He decided we needed a field trip to Little Italy in NYC. We got on the bus and off we went. We arrived there and the teacher had the bus driver open the door. He said "Get out. Go have lunch in an Italian restaurant. Be back at 4pm." No one moved. We thought he was kidding. He wasn't. So out we went. A couple of us wandered around all day because we didn't have enough money to get a meal. A handful of the guys went down to China town and bought fireworks. I saw the teacher once that day, he was having lunch with a lady in one of the restaurants. We did walk past some of the places where the mafia men hung out, however none of us were murdered that day.

Oh man, that is great! 😝
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

I’m reading about how bodies were preserved in the middle ages. That kinda counts as spooky.
Time spent with cats is never wasted.

I drove along US 17 in south Georgia and north Florida yesterday and noticed a good number of homeless walking south for the winter.

The Wuhan continues to wipe out chain restaurants here.  Last week, both Burger King and Popeye’s closed.  That leaves only McDonalds, Waffle House, Starbucks, and Chic-fil-a as chain joints here.  Local joints, including the place with the $50 hamburger, seem to be doing OK.

Our Chick-Fil-A's here are pretty much unusable - like a 45 minute wait in the drive thru.

It's the crack-nuggets.

Boodie (our dog) had an odd, hard thingy on her upper shoulder/neck. We thought it was a dead tick, got it off and it wasn't a tick. Ended up with a tiny wound, the hard thing had been dried oozing ick. It seemed to scab over and we thought it would heal, but it didn't. It would ooze and become another hard thingy. We shaved it a little, clean it up and it kept not healing. So off to the Vet.
The doctor thought it might be a foxtail.  She was going to put a little lidocaine in there, see if there was a foxtail, flush it out etc. They got Boodie up on the table, the doctor pressed on the area and out popped her microchip! She had somehow reacted to it and it got infected. So she'll get antibiotics for two weeks, but should be just fine.

Here she is contemplating microchips.
