Thanks lady. I need something. I get bouts where I will only sleep 20 hours in a week. Unisom used to help. I won't take prescribed aides. I'll look into your suggestion. Funny thing is, I slept like the dead yesterday. Now, I know from experience, I won't be any time soon.

@ShayPSo you're saying that sometimes you'll sleep less than an average of 3 hours a night for a week or so? How, the FUCK, do you get through a day like that? If I get less than 7 per night I'm screwed. A drummer I used to work with had your problem and eventually became a drunk as he drank red wine every night until snooze time. It worked for him LOL he still does it although i think he's down to one big glass a night.
Do you look at the clock and say things like, 'if I get to sleep now I'll get 6 hours' and then 3 hours later you're reduced to 'if I get to sleep now I'll at least get a solid 3 hours"
Another insomniac I knew took up smoking half a joint every night and that worked for him and he said he sleeps great now. I had really bad insomnia in my 20's. Evening would roll around and I would find myself stressed in the anticipation of the inevitable fight for sleep. Eventually I stopped fighting it and just didn't give a shit. That, worked for me to this day. Just said,
fuck it one night, I don't care anymore! =ZZZzzzzzzz
