Was watching some Hawaii Five-0 - In season 3, Episode 23 Pernell Roberts plays a catcher that leaves MLB in order to play in the minors in Hawaii.  He is a widower and feels it will be better for his mentally challenged son.  Kind of a weird premise but whatever. What caught my attention was how comfortable Roberts looked behind the plate. There are several action shots where it is clearly Roberts behind the dish and he looked reasonably comfortable. Looked on the web some and didn't find anything on his background in baseball - Just that he attended Georgia Tech, played the tuba and was a Marine. Nothing in the Five-O bible either on Roberts and baseball either.
Just one of those stupid things that catch ones attention.
