Chrysler seems to be betting alot on this Synthesis cockpit thing. Kind of reminds one of those Euro suicide pods though.

There is this woman around here that walks her English Bulldog in a wagon. The dog is very old and has trouble walking for more than 5 ft on his own would be my guess. She wheels him out each day to pick him up and put him on the grass to do his business. It's a sad sight because the old pup is ready to die in most ways but does not appear to be in any pain at all as he seems happy and wags his tail. But her, the woman, is just hanging on and putting the sad day off as long as she can. She too seems very nice.

It's a tough decision.  The worst.

Yes it is. I've been through it and each time is as uniquely painful as the pet was. Sometimes they let you know when it's time and you no longer have the choice of hanging on. Woke up one morning in 2013 and Henry was laying there dying, so that.. meant load him up (140 LBs) and to the vet we went.  Fuckin' hell that was a dark day. Vets advice was "Guys, get a puppy" "It's not like a human relationship where you break up and get yourself a rebound person right away"  She was right. 48 hours later baby Vera was pissing on my studio floors while fighting with a squeaky rubber chicken toy.

The Lion of Gripsholm Castle

The taxidermist had  not seen a living Lion before and was given a two year post death bag of ick.

I was walking along the river a few weeks ago and saw this odd, boxy-looking figure making its way towards me. It got closer and closer and only until it was about ten feet away did I realise it was a jogger dressed as a.....fucking rhino!

'Awight, mate!' he said, as he passed, and jogged off into the distance.

After some refreshment I have been known to speak rather disconnectedly....But no, more of a walker than those hiking types.

That beats me. Same kind of a deal - went for a hike at a park along the Cape Fear River. Passed some older guy who was trotting along at a decent pace. He was doing the Clint Eastwood thing - running with boots, blue jeans and no shirt. No "mates" out of him. Mean looking Mother.  I guess a retired airborne type out of Fort Bragg maybe.

I think jogging is very bad for you anyway, I don't know why people bother. I go with Neil Armstrong's theory that we only get a certain amount of heartbeats and strenuous exercise like that is going to use too many up for little visible benefit. There are joggers everywhere at the moment, and they just make me feel tired and irritable looking at them with that insufferable air of healthy smugness they give off.

I felt like the Chaplain looking at the naked man in the tree when I saw that jogger. Was I really looking at something real, or was it a figment of my imagination? Was it a sign for me only that I had to interpret? People get dressed up in weird shit for almost no reason in this country these days. When you go to cricket matches you can't move for bearded nuns or men dressed as bananas.

I wish ESPN still showed things such as cricket matches, college hockey, and Australian rules football.  Maybe with the rumored sale, they'll eliminate their politicized gab fests and go back to live sports.  My friends in broadcasting with access to raw ratings info say that's the only thing g people reliably tune in to.

Besides, jogging on pavement is terrible on the knees and ankles.

I miss Australian Rules Football on TV. Around here, we have a professional team that's been around a while, many others must have missed it too.

YT keeps recommending these young, women golfers to me.  This one can strike the ball but look at the long, loopy, chicken wing flapping swing on her.
