Yeesh. You are 100% correct.  Apologies to the Yahoo weasels.

Let's see how all of us look at 99. He looks like he has stroked out a few times. I think Roslynn left a little early to make sure everything is nice for Jimmy. It won't be long now. Maybe Valentine's Day

Yep. Guess Yahoo did the best they could.  Time to go back to their daily does of Liz Hurley bathing suit pix.

The one that amazed me was Dolly Parton at the halftime. Maybe someone mentioned it in football but she is unbelievable. Coming out in that Dallas Cowgirl outfit. I bet they had a wheelchair and oxygen tank waiting right offstage. But how old she? Anyway she is 99% plastic by now. But not bad at all

I'd imagine she would look just as good if not better without all the plastic.  I think Helen Mirren is the exact same age and has just let nature take its course.

Speaking of plastic, did you see the older lady that went to Mexico for plastic surgery after weight loss but woke up with huge knockers and an ass implant?

He hospiced under a brain tumor.

Something I didn't know until recently is that most states consider hospice treatment a stage beyond medical treatment and insurance no longer needs to pay for treatment other than pain relief. Surely President Carter is getting everything possible, but hospice is more of a "give up" rather than "going out peacefully" for the rest of us.

I was once interviewed for hospice work back in Victoria.  I told them I was "nice" and that is why I figured that I would be a good fit. Nice was not enough for them. I should have added that I can be quite 'comforting' 'empathetic' and 'patient' as well as being...  "nice"

It can suck when it goes away abruptly.  My Father was on and off of it a couple of times. Kind of leaves you on an island when it goes away abruptly.

Damn Yahoo. Could you have picked a more unflattering photo of Carter?

At least he lived long enough to see a worse president than he was.

For all his humanitarian work he still was a really bad president.

Wonder what life is like on Carter's Secret Service detail?  No trips to Cartagena full of cocaine and whores that is for sure.

A senior citizen drove his brand new Corvette convertible out of the dealership. Taking off down the road, he floored it to 80 mph, enjoying the wind blowing through what little gray hair he had left. Amazing, he thought as he flew down I-94, pushing the pedal even more.

Looking in his rear view mirror, he saw a state trooper behind him, lights flashing and siren blaring. He floored it to 100 mph, then 110, then 120. Suddenly he thought, What am I doing? I'm too old for this, and pulled over to await the trooper's arrival.

Pulling in behind him, the trooper walked up to the Corvette, looked at his watch, and said, "Sir, my shift ends in 30 minutes. Today is Friday. If you can give me a reason for speeding that I've never heard before, I'll let you go."

The old gentleman paused. Then he said, "Years ago, my wife ran off with a state trooper. I thought you were bringing her back."

"Have a good day, sir," replied the trooper
