I have a friend who, in his retirement, is traveling the world.

His latest stop, Turkey, was a jive experience. It wasn't pickpocketing, it was out and out a gang of thieves. Multiple people had phones and wallets stolen from them, not by stealthy pickpockets but by strong-armed groups of thieves.

It was quite organized, they had a picturesque scene staged, even with a fake fashion photographer. They drew a crowd, the robbery takes place, the photographer and models disappear and the police seemed disinterested to the point where they told them to wait three hours before they could file a report

This is the photo that automatically went to the iCloud taken just before the robbery.

Now, if Apple wouldn't just lock the phone down once reported stolen, but actually have it self-destruct and start a fire, it might be more enjoyable. I don't know if he has AppleCare with the loss prevention coverage. Probably not

There is no shortage of chicks shaking their money-makers on Instagram, Imgur, and other such sites.  There is also no shortage of self-respecting women posters broadcasting their opinions on those same sites.

So why did all the self-respecting women here fly the coop?  Because this site is a neighborhood bar.  It's Moe's Tavern in MAGAville, Kentucky.  Over there on stool 3 is the man whose body is slowly disintegrating, and he takes it out on mankind, screamiing obscenities at a little old lady who asked for help with her flat tire, because she was wearing a mask.  You'll find him chatting with the failed rock star whose mind is two sizes smaller for all of the drugs, when said failed star isn't in the men's room hogging the glory hole for beer tips.  There's assorted barflys who come and go, chanting MAGA talking points in unison.  They are all of them in fellowship because of their shared hatred of change.  While the world at large dismisses them as cranky oldsters, within the warm confines of this backwater site they can feel correct and righteous and -- above all -- superior to those who want to change the world for the better.  You would no more find a self-respecting woman here than you would find someone with an IQ north of 70 at a Trump rally.

The real question, @TigerLily , isn't why all the chicks have flown the coop.  It's why you allow @PB to stroke his grievence boner on your face and bukkake you with stupid, right here at Bart's Tavern.
