Note to self:  "Self, it might be best to avoid the Spongebob Whopper down at the Burger King."

There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

I’m reading a new book. It obvs takes place in Henry VIII court. Reading excerpts of actual documents and anecdotes of people in and around the court is wild. Like, these people were operating like a bougie high school or maybe a frat or sorority ? They say and do the wildest things to each other. And everyone excels at being petty and bitchy. It’s pretty impressive the amount of poor adulting while playing real life chess with people’s lives is happening.

Was set to meet some friends yesterday for lunch. 3 fellas sharing one car with one of them being the DD. Turns out that on the way they were T-boned by a speeding F150 going through a green light. They're fine, insurance and all, but either way they were shaken up and I was suddenly flying solo for the afternoon so I ordered my first black gold (handsome fella he was - pictured) as I proceeded to look at a menu as the hunger began to make itself known.

Was stuck on the house burger vs the ballpark dog but it all hinged on the size of the weiner. I know  ::). But I was serious so I had to ask with a straight face how big the weiner was in ratio to bun, as well as weiner girth! Well, of course she the server womengirl laughed and laughed as eventually the table next to me got in on the fun. Good Lord. people can be so immature.  8)

All in all i was quite happy and I am proud to say that I handled the weiner with relative ease. In fact I would have preferred it/weiner to be a tad shorter while considerably thicker.  Not to worry though, that was easily remedied by cutting off the overhang and doubling those pieces onto the bun with the rest.

Nice looking dog there.  Here in NC, I'd have to ask questions above and beyond length and girth.  The Southerners seem to love having their dogs dyed in Red Dye #4 or whatever.  Dogs look horrible, and the dog dye leeches into the bun which turns it pink.  *shiver*

Once a year, Koegel's from up in Michigan does a road trip of the South and I get my dog allotment from them.
