When I was growing up we thought the only real hot dogs were the ones that turned the boiling water pink.  Glad I don't eat those things anymore.

Our town’s store had a butcher who would give the kids free hotdogs. You could ride your bike there after school and get your free hotdogs and 15 cent jolly ranchers or 5 cent fireballs.

I don’t remember them being a color…light brown? Slightly gray?

The store also had those huge dried out plank wooden floors. It’s said when old man Quilici died there were unopened stetson hats from the ‘30s in the store attic.
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

We had a neat little butcher/corner store kind of deal too.  Don't know how many pieces of Bazooka bubble gum I got from that place for a nickel but it would be a lot.  Store closed down when the butcher/owner guy was found running down the street nude screaming.  Rumor had it he thought cats were going to kill him.

That whole thing about someone mention toasters or whatever while their phone is near and then being are inundated with ads for toasters OR WHATEVER may have some substance. While riding shotgun yesterday for a trip across town I was talking about how I wanted to move a sum of money into a high yield account but was frustrated with my options up here.

I did not have my phone with me as I am not EMOTIONALLY RELIANT on it like others are. The person driving had their phone of course. Now I find myself  bombarded with a number of  high interest bank ads on all my devices! YEESH.

So how did this happen? I am not even in this person (the driver) contact list.  ::)

Did you look into financial stuff anywhere else online?  If not, it just another case of the all-knowing, all-seeing, RBC.

Watching the game and a commercial came on for a drug that has a side effect of a fatal infection between the genitals and anus.  What's up with that?

Has anybody been on one of the river cruises that are advertised all the time?  It looks like you go with some woman you already know, drink a lot of wine, and eat 9000 calorie single dishes.  No sign of a good rock band or a bar with dancing girls and ladies of the evening.
Merry Christmas - Nice things, and posts, are nicer than nasty things.

Do other cruises have that?  Asking for a friend.

The chunky highlights of the early aughts are back hard. I will not be a part of it.

….but if I were going to…

This would never have occurred to me without the valuable insight of another intrepid EllGab reporter. Deep kudos! And that rhymes with pathos, BTW.

It's not just me.
Jesus hates bush, too.
His dad is not a fan either, tried burning all bush.
