So I lived in Denver, Texas.
Nope.
Denver (located in north-central Colorado, around 39.7°N latitude and 105°W longitude) fell well outside this claimed territory. The Republic’s claims in Colorado were limited to western and southern portions (e.g., areas around the headwaters of the Rio Grande, including places like modern Aspen, Vail, Crested Butte, and Steamboat Springs in the southwest and west-central parts of the state). Eastern and central Colorado, including the Denver area, were not included in Texas’ claims.
