A frequent voice on the radio then was an actor who hosted many of the Sherlock Holmes radio broadcasts with Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce. He also was on the Gunsmoke episode last week.
His name was Harry Bartell. Bartell...Bart Ell. Coincidence?
