Is this a true story? After reading about this win last night, I went to bed. I believed that I misread this story and was becoming confused.
True. Really.

why?

I guess because he is just out of rehab and obviously has a serious drinking problem. He needs help.

Well maybe there’s no point in paying if you want an easy out ... this is just conjecture, but I certainly can’t find anything about Telos being out anywhere and I would imagine it would cause a big stink and be mentioned somewhere if it appeared to take out a large portion of the US southwest?

Look, on Tuesday there was a huge outage for much of the day for Earthlink, a very big ISP here, covering much of the northeast and southeast US and some other areas as well, into Texas and beyond. My email was down (I have an email which was taken over by earthlink, one of many they took over through the years) for most of the day. Yahoo also was briefly out.

I was able to quickly find a map of the outage in real time for Earthlink, and only a bulletin update on Yahoo. Both came back up by late afternoon. There was no mystery, it was easily documented.

No such outage for Telos occurred, a server change yes, but no outage.

Leaving her gun in the bathroom stall of a public place after taking a shit, didn't convince the Kingdom of Nye she was unreliable I guess.

In all fairness the Saddle West isn’t the busiest place at lunch time in Pahrump. Most people that stay there are attending Frontsight firearms training and are gone all day long.
Are we having fun yet?

S'ok, in NY State they just re-elected a congressman from a conservative part of western NY who was recently indicted for felony insider trading. He won by 1% with not all the ballots counted. Apparently there may be a recount. Interesting elections all over the place, including Florida, where the big races may have been called too soon. Very tight margins for senator and governor with thousands of ballots still outstanding to be counted. And how 'bout that Georgia governor's race? Sheesh.

Talk about roller-coasters! They're all over the place!
Now simply being indicted doesn't presume guilt but our AG was re-elected easily. And, other party, my County's DA kept her job after being pulled over for drunk driving with an open, half-drunk bottle of vodka and spit at cops and yelled at judge a few years ago! Btw, for some internet and "radio" folks around or anyone, records were subpoenaed and showed how much she booze she bought regularly on her credit cards. So use cash and wear disguises, I guess if you want to be a professional alcoholic.

Yep. True story. It happens somewhat semi-frequently considering the age of incumbents and the good eating and drinking lifestyle of many politicians. The interesting thing is how different jurisdictions deal with the deaths vis-a-vis he new person to hold seat, when new election, special elections, etc.
