Happy Veterans Day. 7 years 11 months USAF, sounds like a life time. Thank you for your Service.

I served in the relative comfort of the cold war.  My toughest assignment was being a member of the Air Force bobsled team for 5 winters. I’m proud of my service but I have to tip my hat to those that had to deploy to combat.

She said she installed new equipment and is working on improving the stream. I do wonder, why is she having so much trouble with her feed? Could it be a sign of amateur city abilities here? She is doing things way above her pay grade, imho. How many other podcasters using much simpler equipment or software do really good shows with no streaming problems? Sigh.

Bobsled!?? Well, in my world, that counts for bravery, too. Keep in mind that rollercoasters make me ill, for context, but still... you rock, Gravity! +1 again!

That’s a great pic. Are you in front ?  Is it hard to learn ?  It looks scary fast on the olympics. I can’t imagine going that fast.

I rode number two on the four man and drove the two man.  It took a lot of conditioning and a lot of practice to get fast push starts.  After that the riders are basically ballast. I started leaning to drive the two man my first year.  You are either a good driver or you’re not.  I don’t think a poor driver ever learns how to be fast.  Here is me driving my two man in 1980.
