There's a baggie??
Times a.changing but, yeah, used to have such in modern age. So those who wish (want good stuff) have access to neck, giblets, etc. For use in gravy, stew, soup or even just to sett a trap. Haha.

Interesting. I use catsup in lists, refererces, a minor protest and attempt to influence language and undercut some politcally influential families. Not working. Styrofoam seems to work better?

I'm sorry. I'm having a mild case of the dumbs. What?

Yes, usually with the neck, liver, and other organ parts in it. Sorry to tell you, but true.

I must say, most everyone has been particularly hilarious today, and thank you!

I'm going to bed now, but I hope when I come back here tomorrow there will not have been a major food fight overnight.

Goodnight and sweet dreams, all... and have a great afternoon and evening, Spookcat!

Good morning, Dynamo!

Sorry laugh, pawpourri, but I did. First turkey I did, I left the baggie inside as well. Who knew?

My mother never let me live it down, the rascal...  ::)

Oh, it is funny, Aquarius!  I chuckle too.  We've pretty much all been there and can relate.  See, live and learn - now I know that long thing I pulled out of my turkey did not mean he was well-endowed; it was his neck!  My friend laughed and explained that one to me!  His growing up on a farm did have its advantages.   ;D

Catsup vs. ketchup (associated with Heinz).  Subversive linguistic revolutionary.  8)

We should suggest that Bill be a guest in his own right.  When you consider that the mild varieties of paprika commonly used for goulash are a relatively recent development, the line between chili and goulash becomes very blurry indeed.

I love paprika.  I enjoy goulash, too.   :P

There was a time not long ago I would have thrown myself on a gernade for Heather..
She was so captivating..her voice a siren's song.
Enchanting, spellbinding, dream weaving vixen.
I yearn.

*Hug* It always stings pretty bad when someone is not what they present themselves as, and your sting must be worse than anyone. I hope you can find your siren in the new year and may she be as honest and real as the day is long. Thanks for sticking with us as these threads unraveled. Its not what we wanted to see its just what is when we were honest with ourselves about what was happening, sometimes in real time.

You deserve someone with a heart that can love as deeply as your own, it will work out better that way.

Ketchup vs. Catsup, right? A passive aggressive swipe at the Heinz/Kerry coalition I assume
For all that is bad, there is good. For that which is despair, there is hope. For the moments of pain,
There are moments of love. For all that falls, there is the chance to rise again.

Well yeah, I got that part. You lost me around the Styrofoam.

Weird, don't ask me why, but paprika is one of the few spices I can tolerate in moderation. Go figure!
