I do not understand the blind devotion especially for someone like Miz Wade.
I think it is related to the natural curiosity (if you want to call it that) that is similar to watching a train wreck. There's somebody out there just as or even more dysfunctional than you are. But that person is in a more public place, it's like a lightning rod. Now, the worship part is just their interpretation of it whereas most of us here are laughing at her.
As an aside, one of my kid's classmates has a father who is a radio personality. Not only is his job at-risk pretty much every year but it's in even more risk right now because his station is going through management changes. Talking to him, I asked for a status and I must say that the dude is the pole-to-freezing-pole opposite of our little Miss Wade. At this time, he's upgrading his home studio, went out and got a backup internet brick and has been marketing himself as a fill-in host to English-speaking stations all over the world. Can anyone say "life skills" and "crisis management?"
