I like not having to worry about being attacked. That's really nice. I like that people are well mannered overall too. People can disagree with out getting nasty.
I like this very much too, PBS. For the relatively short time I was on Bellgab I edited my replies heavily, and often didn't reply when I felt I would like to, mainly because while I am happy to discuss and disagree, I don't like to get snagged in attacks and really nasty put-downs. I feel so much more comfortable here, and am so happy with the way Bart manages us all.

I feel this place is very open to alternate opinions and discussions, and I like that. But I appreciate the basic civility with which most of the discussions on the threads where I hang out are conducted. I figure if I don't like the tone, as on the political threads, I don't have to go there.

Praise BE!

There really is a way home between delirious extremes of belief by keeping to unbiased fact, honesty and extending kindness where its due. I LIKE it here.
And no, I was not always comfortable on BG and thats why I would be gone from it for weeks/months at a time. Honesty.
Dyna, I think there are many of us here who feel the way you do, like moi!  ;)

And all this back and forth has what to do with " The Kingdom of Drama without Heather Wade"?     Perhaps we need a new thread like, " The Kingdom of Drama without Bellgab". Whatcha think?  :)
Well, this is our own little Kingdom of Drama, and in this case it is definitely without Heather Wade! I think Bart's amendment of the original title was prescient! <g>

Where is the zoo?
If you look at the members list, you'll see he's still there, but listed as with Cuckshack status, till he's let out of the zoo.  :)

You said it better than me l, CLAPPING !
Thank you!
I should clarify that when I said "I'm done," I meant that I will likely not address Miller directly any more, I don't want to use any of my mental bandwidth on him. I may comment in general on some of his stuff, but I don't want to waste my time talking to someone who is hermetically sealed off from taking in any responses to him.

Mostly he wants attention. He's the kind of guy who feels important getting attention and poking and provoking people. In his world, negative attention is better than none at all.

Ok then, onward and upward, or something like that.  ;D

Lmao caught in her pussy fog! Omg this has happened to me with other women. Not Heater. Bleh. Lol. I am totally incorporating that into my vocabulary. Thank you!

It's good to vent. No worries from me. Although ourselves and other's have completely derailed this thread but considering Heather has not made an appearance in forever and the Fringe is winding down it's better than nothing. LOL
As I said, PBS, this thread is the one without Heather Wade.  ;D

Let's take it down a notch. Peter is in England and everyone here is anonymous, so he won't be showing up at your door any time soon. I'm taking half a tab of Clonopin. Want the other half?

Anyone who has actually spoken with Peter knows how funny and charming he is in real life. It just doesn't translate to a post. When you think of Peter, think of Basil Fawty. That's who he is channeling. He's called into the Gabcast in the past and was perfectly amicable.
Actually, this is really helpful, Inglorious. It's hard to tell sometimes absent tone of voice. I thought it was his kind of humor, but wasn't sure. Thanks! +1

Went to Stonehenge today.

Actually just drove past it as we knew it was going to be a bit of a zoo. I’d never seen it (despite living like 50 miles from it).

Nowhere near as good as Avebury.

Anyway there’s no real point to this post apart from to share some pics.

My 2p’s worth on the free speech thing is that I think we have a delicate ecosystem here, welcoming of other ideas and lots of cultural differences, lots of clever people. Barthur has a good sense of the point in which things can change, and I’ve seen him make good calls regarding that.

If the landlord of a pub allowed people who spewed all over the walls to stay in the pub, the regulars would leave. He allows the happy drunks and occasionally allows a fight because its good entertainment and he knows the regulars will stand out of reach of the punches and chairs being thrown - unless they choose to join in. It’s ok to allow chaos if everyone wants chaos at that point, inflicting chaos on the majority is never really a good idea.

Lastly, it’s Bart’s sandpit he can tell any of us to fuck off out of it if he wants. If we don’t like his sandpit anymore we can go to a different sandpit - we can make our own sandpit. I like it here.

Can we get back to pissing off Hallie and Ferret now please?

Pic 1. Stonehenge (no idea why pic did that soz)
Pic2. Bailey showing how impressed he was with Stonehenge

I have been to Europe many times on business and the UK please let me know the name of this pub and it sounds perfect like a ideal place to visit. 😎

Nice pics!

It'll tell you how long ago I first visited Stonehenge when I tell you that the fences had not yet been erected, or if they were, visitors were still allowed to go up to the stones but were forbidden to touch them. Wonderful experience, as was Avebury!

I think Baily had the right idea, after all if he couldn't pee on the stones, what was the point for him?  ;D
