Here's what I don't think Heather understands or cares about: If she wants to be involved in media, be it radio, podcast, youtube, whatever, she is going to be in the public eye. Being in that public eye means you are going to have people who love you and people who hate you, people who want to look out for your best interest and people who want to watch you fail. It doesn't matter what you do, what topics you cover, what time you're on, etc. In order to further the audience of said program, you have to sell your personality. If you're looking for subscribers, you have to give them something to subscribe to. In the real world, you don't get paid unless you do the work.
If she's decided this isn't the career for her, fine. She should be sure to give subscribers their money back or finish out the rest of the subscription month before pulling the plug.
But that would be logical...
