Update: Essential studio equipment on order should be arriving later in the week.

Until then more fine tuning and technicality.

That essential equipment can't arrive fast enough!

That's interesting. She had all sorts of great sound equipment before. Of course, equipment failures are always plaguing her. It's kind of like giving a monkey a typewriter.
Eh, nevermind...

You could give me a spaceship and all I’d be able to do with it is make a giant crater where the billion dollar piece of technology once stood.

Boy if that ain’t the truth sometimes. For a time home base was in a high rise and I traveled during the week. The car I typically left at home during the week was a Hummer for various reasons.

Luckily the worst ever done was scuffing up a concrete pillar by tapping it in the parking garage… missing the guys McLaren who had the parking spot across the way. That would’ve been way more expensive.

She replaced the new UPS battery pack last night and a new monitor is supposed to have arrived today. She wants everything just right before the new start.

Somehow you give the impression she lacks the technical expertise.

The shitshow often had problems and she blamed the gear on more than one occasion even though sleeping until 11:30 p.m. didn't help.

Rightfully so.  Very exciting!

Any speculation on who the first guest will be?  I've got some ideas but it will be interesting to see whom Heather will roll with.

The studio should be blast-off ready today.

Her website might need to be upgraded by the software ninjas.

After a few days of rest she will then post the official start date.

Possibly with a sensible schedule of four days a week.

Apparently there is a guest or guests already waiting in the wings.

I don't know why, but I am very interested in hearing the initial blast-off!  Thing is, I am not going to pay for anything up front without taking the show for a test drive, so-to-speak. Gimme something to bite on free of charge to kick things off and we'll talk about a subscription from there.

I do not want to see anyone fail, to the contrary, but I have my doubts.

- Meanwhile I just hit 3000 for my audible contributions to earthly society.  :o

Ya caught me in an edit.

Yeah. You're right. But I remain curious.

Was it Eric Clapton who said that Jimmy Page's new band is going to go over like lead balloon?

Unless she has gone through serious mental health treatment, it's going to be another shitshow, guaranteed. People don't just change on a dime or even in 5 years. Now, if she stopped doing all the inebriates, she might have some better skills in managing things, but I doubt that because the root is always going to be the same plant, no matter how you fertilize the soil.

I wonder how long it will take before she includes herself in whatever the guest is discussing. The guest will say something like I used a slow plow to make a landing strip on a glacier. Her response will be "I did that once for a Boeing 777 when i was 4 years old."

I'm sure somebody has told her or will tell her not to do that, but there's going to be a point that she forgets or just can't help it...

And what about bringing up Art Bell himself. How many seconds will it be before she refers to him?

Its complicated.
Eh, nevermind...

No to that and no to waking up with my foot caught under a door.
