All thanks to George Harrison who, some 50 years ago sang:  ...drove my body like a car taking me both near and far.

Then there's all sorts of analogies like no gas in the tank, the wheels came off (okay, that's more of an old West wagon saying), added in with her propensity to drive around the desert at high rates of speed and no headlights on, I think it works.

Ultimately, she was doomed from the beginning. She doesn't have it. Whether it's a good work habit, proper management of time and resources, sanity or just the passion for it.

For a middling person who's been kind of on the lower rungs of life, I'm sure any money is attractive. She was in all those men's discretionary spending category years ago. If she were 24 years old, I'm sure she could get a lot more interest from men to send her money with little return on investment.

What she really needs is a man who's a fetishist into bestiality.

Earlier, I guessed she already sold the equipment to a pawn store, but there she was "Heidi Heidi Bully".   Will she continue to be a ground hog and pop out of her hole again just to see her shadow... Yup.  Unfortunately, next time, maybe no one will notice, and I'll miss another short-lived drama moment.

With the exception of trolls and a handful of fanboys, why would anyone pay money for a podcast that not produce content.

I subscribe to a couple of podcast. Both of them put out shows exactly when they say they are going to. Most folks won’t pay for something, when they are promised X amount of shows and get 15% of that.

A podcast being done a few times a month at random times, is not going to be able to pay someone’s bills within 2 months.

Heather had a good opportunity. Back in the day even just the bellgab audience was pretty big. Somehow she managed to turn almost everyone against her.  In fairness, she never should have just been dumped into the show.

There's some lack of self-awareness involved there. Being thrown into something is one thing, but climbing out of that pool is essential. She decided to stay in.

If she ever thought she was over her head, she should have started working on a replacement. But she was getting better and the strange behavior and complicated grief was indicative that she was fucked up bigly.

That lack of self-awareness probably led to her insisting to Art that she could take over. It probably also continued after he died and she was cramping Keith Rowland's style. Educated guess there, just an educated guess.
