Plus a few extra crazies including one named Bubba.
Listened to the open lines segment of this show this afternoon, very entertaining. A throw back show to those Syrett open lines Albrect and I use to comment about over at BG...... two hours of wackjobs. In addition to the callers who have been enlightened by God/aliens/universal consciousness, we heard again from Bill, the Columbia J school grad. He called to let us know how credible he, as a professional journalist, found the story former GFR guitarist Mark Farner told about his UFO sighting. If Bill buys the story, obviously I'm all in.
Another caller was a older gal who told Syrett her dad had worked in a "secret underground facility" in Baltimore. She claimed the facility was operated by Martin Aircraft and was under a grocery store. To her credit, no outrageous stories about reverse engineering alien technology or chem/bio lab research, in fact no claims other than the facility existed.
I'm inclined to believe her, at least in part. Don't know about the grocery store bit, but I can certainly understand underground facilities at such high value sites that date back to pre WW2. Even late into WW2, there was still a concern the Germans might bomb east coast targets. In fact, her claim is interesting enough to me that I'm going to see if I can find something like a Martin Aircraft historian to see if there is any record of underground Martin facilities.
