Nope.  He got back home before the outbreak became a story.  He was concerned that the MS Westerdam was going to be allowed to dock in Sihanoukville, Cambodia.  That is one of his favorite spots for nightlife.  Seems like one of the disembarked passengers is already virus positive so his concern was valid.

Nah. I do think a whole hell of alot of people will get sick and we'll be dealing with this for quite some time.   Letting China do everythging for the world wasn't a good idea and if the supply chain gets disrupted enough, perhaps that will change.  Stuff like this is scary:

All these dots are cargo ships at anchor outside of Shanghai.  Port congestion there is nothing new but this is extreme.  A cargo ship at anchor isn't making money.
