My friends in Thailand say that everything looks deserted. I think I read that 70% of their tourism is from China, plus I am sure other westerners are canceling their trips like I did.  On the one hand it would be nice to be there with zero crowds but I would be nervous about getting sick the entire time. 

Sure do miss those $6/hour Thai massages.
