I've always liked that song as well.

Plenty of place names are misnomers, and people all around the world call our country 'America' - not just us.  To me it's - along with 'the US' and 'USA' - short for United States of America, not a claim we are the only country in the western hemisphere.  Does she know where the name Venezuela came from?

That’s one of the many problems with the high level Swamp bureaucrats.  Their “job” becomes one of self-promotion and self-interest.  They think they’re too important to be bothered with actually doing “a job.”  Anything related to such is delegated to a staff of flunkies who hope to someday rise to the same level of incompetence and self-interests full of conflicts of interest.
