Well, us non-medical experts made that assumption. And the media were either happy to let people go on thinking that if it would convince people to get the vaccine, or they didn't know any different themselves.
Then Joe Biden came along and flat out said we wouldn't get it if we took the vaccine.
I wonder how that could have happened? Perhaps, and bare with me as this is a real stretch for some, but maybe calling it a “vaccine” is why people made that assumption. And why would they do that you might ask? Well let’s look at the dictionary definition of “vaccine”.
vac·cine

a substance used to stimulate the production of antibodies and provide immunity against one or several diseases
And so there’s no mistake on the meaning
im·mu·ni·ty

noun
the ability of an organism to resist a particular infection or toxin by the action of specific antibodies or sensitized white blood cells.
We know one thing about the “vaccine”. It doesn’t provide immunity. It does kill people. 11,405 as of July 16th. Having been vaxed doesn’t prevent people from dying from covid. There is no way to measure if it lessons the effect of covid but making that assumption is flawed considering vaxed people are dying at the same rate as unvaxed.
