Good that this is the only point you want to dispute. I'm about done debating this with you because the whole covid issue is way too similar to politics now, way beyond what any flu should be.

I participated in an experimental trial once, involving a comparison between physically going to the doctor vs a computer video visit. To be in this experimental program I was sent a large packet of information that I had to read, sign in multiple places and return. Those papers described the trial, what was being looked at, how it would work, when the trial would start and stop etc etc. I had to sign an informed consent letting me know that there could be medical issues for patients with the new system of computer video visits. All involved were made aware that for the video visit people the visits might not be as good as an in-person visit. Full informed consent.
Once the trial was underway, there was frequent surveying done as the data was collected. I had a contact person who was involved with the trial to call should I have any issues or problems. That person would be the one who would contact me if I for some reason did not complete the surveys, as they had to be sure I was ok.

Does this process sound the same to people who have gotten that shot? If you had the shot, did you read the dozen or more pages of info and sign off on them? Have you filled out the surveys for the data collection? If not, has someone contacted you to make sure you are ok? No, people did not have the standard process for experimental trials. They are not koo koo nutjobs, that process did not occur and it isn't their fault. That process is the standard for experimental trials. It holds true for all experimental trials. Mine was for office visits for heaven's sake, let alone injecting something into people.  Something   is   wrong.

Maybe the point of it all is to have the us vs them. Again.
I can understand how people might want to hang on to everything they thought and totally negate valid concerns people have because of where they are in this. There is a long list of what the "experts" were incorrect about last year. And these experts are doing it again! They were repeatedly wrong why would anyone listen to them saying the same thing they were wrong about before again?

Shots aside - what we are getting are "experts" who are wrong. It is NOT ok for these experts to be wrong. We all know about the Thalidomide drug. Once it was realized that the experts for that were wrong, they responded appropriately. The experts today don't respond appropriately when they are wrong. They keep going being wrong. They are wrong over and over. This is NOT ok. This short article tells how some doctors are beginning to feel.

I've seen lots of info that says the shots are fine. I've seen lots of info that says they are not fine with specifics and details as to why they are not fine. What I have NOT seen is those specifics and details being disputed with specifics and details as to why they are incorrect. All I see is the name calling and whatnot against those who say the shots are not fine.

The problem is there’s supposed to be an objective media that acts as a watchdog. They stopped decades ago. One party has grown used to having their baseless accusations and name calling parroted blindly by said media. Well now people’s lives are on the line. And common sense is very slowly starting to prevail. Be it Trump Russia collusion that never made any sense and never had any evidence. Or election results that clearly made no sense. Or a whole new type of “vaccine” developed in months that gives no immunity. All while making big pharma companies billions in profits. The public may slowly be waking up but the communist “leadership” will double down until they go to their graves. They have no other purpose in life.

@anniem It is very, very hard to figure out whether or not to take the vaccine. I truly believe it should be an individual decision and nobody should be threatened or chastised for either taking it or not taking it. The government didn’t give us our freedoms. They only try to take them away. Inalienable rights are still inalienable rights.

I was forced to take the experimental swine flu vaccine in 1976. I got sick. Almost ended up in the hospital. Couldn’t get out of bed for a week. And I was at top physical condition. Competing in an extreme winter sport  internationally. After that I got sick every year when the Air Force made me get a flu shot. Haven’t had one since about 1982. Never get the flu either.

I wasn’t going to get vaccinated because of my past history with getting sick from an experimental vaccine. Finally I just got tired of it taking up too much bandwidth in my brain so I chose the single dose J&J vaccine. If I was even remotely considering having any more children I would not have taken any of these vaccines.

There are two things I am absolutely certain about. 1.  HCL and Ivermectin work for almost all the people that begin taking it early as soon as symptoms are detected.  2. If the government acknowledged that these therapies were effective, they could not have released the vaccines as emergency measures without changing the laws governing emergency use.

I know of a doctor that is willing to prescribe ivermectin through a relative that had to take it this winter. I consider that a safety net if my single dose vaccine and supplements to enhance my immune system somehow fail me. I probably won’t take any future “boosters”.

For about 5 weeks I thought I made a major mistake getting the vaccine. My tinnitus had been pretty much under control for 3 years. 2 days after getting the vaccine it came roaring back.  Looked up side effects and that was listed as a rare condition.  Then 5 weeks later it just faded again. I got lucky.

I didn’t read any study. Just aware of a dozen or so people that I know personally that were treated properly (early and dosage dependent on body weight), some of which had comorbidities and only one of the people I knew even got measurably ill after testing positive. And turns out her vanity caused her to lie about her weight when talking to the doctor on a video session. That’s probably why she had any trouble.

So are you now going to point to a study that says PCR testing is unreliable and that they were probably all false positives?  Asking for a friend.

Why would Merck put out a statement saying "No meaningful evidence for clinical activity or clinical efficacy in patients with COVID-19 disease" and have no interest in clinical trials and getting in on all that sexy covid money?

I definitely agree. Many people seem fine so far. Many don't. The data is a mess.

I've had one flu after a cross country flight. Otherwise, I haven't gotten them until the last few years I worked. There, if you don't get them you had to wear a mask. I didn't want to so I got a couple.
I still think it wise to be very careful to avoid sick people, don't touch your face and keep your hands clean because this virus came from a lab and can act differently than natural flus. Do you recall what year that swine flu was?

A friend of mine is planning the same thing. She took the J&J, and is keeping her immunity up. She will not take any boosters. I had a doctor visit and requested labs for the levels Vit D, zinc, and magnesium. My Vit D was at the high level of the scale to my doctor, but not from what other sources say. That's not a water soluble one, so I'm not going to let that go higher. They are all in the normal range, and that is what I want. I should be fine.

Glad that faded. My last vaccine was quite nasty, the shingles vax. That is the last one I plan to take. You are quite in tune with your health, I think that is always a good thing.
