Vida Blue - 73.

Those A's teams really grabbed the attention of a lot of us kids. They had the mashers, the speedsters, a designated pinch runner. Those were the days.
Eh, nevermind...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helmut_Berger

Austrian actor Helmut Berger has died at the age of 78.  He was a great villain, especially in Beast with a Gun (1977) and Dorian Gray (1970).  Dorian Gray is available on YouTube, if you would like to check out his work.

Andy Rourke - 59 -pancreatic cancer.

Bassist from The Smiths and, as I met him, The Pretenders.

I spent a couple of days around him. Seemed like a very cool, level-headed dude and it was like being friends with him for ages. We had talked haircuts at one point and I mentioned that his current styling would have looked better with Duran Duran. At that point Martin Chambers started razzing him with "thinking of leaving us?"

While not his best work with The Pretenders, I think this video is probably most complimentary to his presence.

Too young.

Of course I had to look this up, darn you, Sean. ☺️
So, do you think it helped them? 🤷🏻‍♀️
