Jim Frey and Willie Davis.

Baseballers. ☹️

I remember Jim Frey as a Chicago Cub manager, maybe?  Willie Davis, I remember him as a Dodger and a short-term Padre.
Eh, nevermind...

In the 1966 World Series, Willie Davis committed an error on one play and two errors on the next play.

It wasn’t Willie Davis the baseball player that died on 4/15/20.  He died in 2010. It was Willie Davis the football player.

Jim Frey totally mismanaged the playoff series against the Padres in 1984. Losing that series crushed me as a Cubs fan.

Bwahahahahahaha!

I think that was the first 0-2 comeback in a 5-game playoff...  Ever.

No one would have stopped Detroit that year.

Has anybody else had their number retired for one homer? Garvey did. ☹️

Just another reminder that life is complete shit sometimes. The falkies of the world live on to unbox cat food bought with taxpayer dollars another day.
