Hey Caith! She definitely seems unwell. Being isolated, unstable, and possibly (likely) using drugs is a recipe for trouble. As Sean noted, she has a knack for pushing away anyone who seems to care about her. For all of my criticisms of her behavior, it really is a sad situation. I hope she can somehow find peace and let some good people in.o

Totally agree,  Fancy. I worked in a fairly large medical office with mental health professionals in addition to nurse practitioners and MDs. It is impossible to understand what is going on in a person's mind and to have alcohol and/or drugs in the mix, it can seem hopeless. I truly hope she has a trusted someone near to her that would intervene if necessary.

Hell yes! I retired after 37 years in the Army and I am now in school learning to be an IT specialist so I can get a job working in the Army.  It's never too late!
