Mrs. Thompson's answers and advice, as far as I can decipher them:

1. The fact that a girl speaks in a friendly manner usually indicates that she likes the boy but not necessarily enough to enjoy his company.  I'm not sure if any of us hit on it exactly that way.  Then Mrs. T. throws everyone a curve ball by saying...
2. A boy should not try to make a girl like him until they have been properly introduced.  After that, it will be OK to hit on her for dates and stuff.  Of course!  This is so 'one hundred years ago.'  Everyone should have got this one, but nobody did.
3. Don't spend to much time with the girl in the beginning, otherwise she might tire of the boy.
4. Nothing pisses off a girl more than a pimply faced boy who overstays his welcome and then to top things off...
5. Hangs around the front door talking nonsense when the girl wants to go back inside to grab something to eat or go to the bathroom.  (I know, all of you are thinking, "Now why didn't I think of that?"
6. Try to find out what interests the girl and talk to her about it.
7. Be sure not to take over the conversation.  Let her talk to you.

So there you have it.  I will go over your answers once again and try to hand out as many points as I can.

anniem: 20 points
Bart Ell: 10 points
Bobs Your Uncle: 10 points
Mr. Apnea: 10 points
ShayP: 10 points
BartEllProducer: 10 points
FISH: 10 points
juan: 10 points

(I tried to draw out Mrs. Thompson by asking her what she would have replied if the girls had been 'strange' in the truest sense of the word.  She looked at me with a smile and said, "You know what?  You are one strange boy.")

I'm not sure, my dear anniem.  I went to 2835 Sheffield Ave. in Chicago via my 'Google car' but could only find a building with a big sign that said something about an arcade.  There was a smaller sign that listed all of the tenants but unfortunately I couldn't zoom in far enough to read it.  It is for that reason that I can only advise everyone to hold onto their 5 cents.

If Mrs. Thompson were here, she would say, "I can ride, I can shoot, and I don't mind the cold.  In fact, I kind of like the cold."  (20 bonus points if you can guess what favorite movie of mine that I stole that line from.)
@Rikki Gins Mrs. T. told me to tell you that I need more hints about this movie.

It is possible that what you are hearing is not true. He says he loves you and does everything he can for your pleasure. You are a little young, so stay the course.

Time to amp it up.  Let him know you love him.  He'll drop the other girls.

Dear Anxious
Tell you love him, too, but understand that you are young and reserve the possibility of changing your mind. He may well love you, but’s goes out with others because he is unsure about you. Show him your love by doing things he enjoys.
Merry Christmas
