Jeremy calls in from North Dakota mildly peeved with George: "What took you so long to answer?"

The guest listens patiently to Jeremy's story and graciously invites him onto her own podcast.

George immediately responds: "Jeremy has been on here many times. Take him, TAKE HIM!"

Yep even Noory is tired of Jeremy always telling the same old story every time he calls in.
Move on - its been over 20 years Jeremy- the task not done they told you was not to be obsessed for years on your accident!

"Excuse me folks I'm losing my voice."

He could barely make it through the LifeLock commercial.

This is getting sad.

damn, that is sad, so he's acknowledging it now. I wonder what illnesses/diseases affect your voice. Just being 74 isn't the reason, lots of people that age doing radio and they're not losing their voice. maybe he's been battling something major like cancer but he's been stoic about it. though stoicism is something I'd never predict Noory capable of.

i haven't listened this week, the guests offer nothing to me.

To be fair, he only meant that comment in the context of that one commercial. But it is indicative of  a sad decline.

I listened to the end of the show to see if, one, he had decided to cut out early and replay an old segment, or two, play an earlier sign off recording where he mentions all the names, with a more robust voice.  Surprisingly, he stuck it out to the end and delivered his end credits and goodbye with his rather frail sounding voice.

There's no bigger more annoying ass kisser than Thomas from La Jolla. Called in and began with:

'George I would like to thank you for the MIRACLE of Coast to Coast live 7 nights a week.'

Noory adds 'holidays too Tom'

and then Thomas goes into his little The Thomas from La Jolla Show for 5 minutes.

Yep and now another sad pack caller, its Cornelius and he told Thomas to give him a call and watch him on youtube!

Some callers tonight are still wishing Noory a "belated" happy birthday...
I see the newest c2c guest host Rich Berra is back this Saturday night as well as Friday next week.

For anyone listening it might be interesting to take a look at Leah Guy's haunted house.

Built in 1838, I think this might be it.

She mentioned a lot of reno and no longer "haunted".

1:42 and - whoosh - Noory sounds 20 years younger.

I only caught a few minutes as I listened while I showered and this was the segment where she talked about being drawn to that place. Thanks for this!  I didn't know ghosts were done day night schedules. Well, OK, the graveyard shift, I get...

That ancestral trauma business sounds like a good excuse.  I think ill start using it.

Demand reparations!

there's a new mental illness being sold on the radio, ACES.

If everybody is deemed mentally ill, they will not be trusted with their second amendment rights, I believe that some fourth amendment rights and maybe fifth and sixth amendment rights might also be affected. Because, you lose the right to defend yourself, your confidential comments to medical professionals could be shared and if your mental, they can search you under an overwhelming need excuse...

I deserve reparations.  My ancestors were brought over here as indentured servants and the conditions were so bad, fewer than ones third were alive seven years later.  That's a lot of ancestral trauma.
